Versatile Data Format

Some of the small programs I wrote on my spare time. They are Free Software, and written mostly in OCaml.

Versatile Data Format

Post by Vincent » Sat Jul 11, 2009 7:13 pm

New version of VDF (see here for the old one).

Unlike the old one I applied the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid!) principle; code much shorter and cleaner, no "advanced" features no one ever used (myself included). Only one data type (string). For once I'll add new features when I actually have need of them and not before.

Yet, this version does have features which the old ones did not, such as verbatim strings and associations.

Documentation: Main class manipulating data (certainly not up-to-date.).
